BT South Tyneside sponsors Pride Awards

Held in association with main event sponsor, BT South Tyneside, the Pride of South Tyneside Awards is back for the seventh year to celebrate the often-unsung heroes that make South Tyneside a special place. 

2009’s categories are the achieving excellence award, carer of the year, child of courage (under 16s), community group of the year, greener South Tyneside, judges’ special award, role model of the year, safer neighbourhoods award, sporting excellence and young performer(s) of the year (under 21s).

The winners will be announced in a ceremony on 9th July 2009 at the Customs House, South Shields.
